Frequently Asked Questions
What types of multivitamins do you offer?
EarthFirst Organic provides a variety of high-quality multivitamins specifically formulated for both men and women. Our offerings include specialized products such as Women's Multi Once Daily and Men's Multi Once Daily, all derived from organic whole foods.
Are your multivitamins free from synthetic additives?
Yes, our commitment to health and sustainability ensures that all our multivitamins are free from synthetic additives. We prioritize essential nutrients sourced from organic whole foods to support your well-being while nurturing the planet.
What does organic food bound mean?
Most conventional vitamins and minerals are isolated or synthetically produced, which means the body often needs to combine them with food or nutrients from the body itself to facilitate absorption. At EarthFirst Organic, we’ve developed a process to retain or create food-bound nutrients, ensuring that vitamins and minerals remain naturally connected to their food sources. Through methods like extraction, fermentation, and chelation, our organic food-bound nutrients are delivered in a form your body recognizes and absorbs more effectively. This approach ensures you’re getting nutrients as nature intended—bound to real food and accompanied by beneficial components like proteins, carbohydrates, polyphenols, and antioxidants.
What makes Earthfirst Organic Multi Vitamins different?
Whole Food Nutrition: EarthFirst Multivitamins are made from organic, whole food ingredients, ensuring the nutrients are delivered in their natural, food-bound state for optimal absorption.
Organic and Sustainable: We prioritize certified organic ingredients and sustainable practices, including partnerships with regenerative farms, to support both your health and the planet.
Unique Technology: Our OrganiPress™ Beyond Clean Tablet Technology uses extraction, fermentation, and chelation to preserve nutrients and ensure bioavailability without synthetic additives.
Clean Label: Our products are free from synthetic binders, fillers, and additives, delivering only the nutrients your body needs.

How should I store my multivitamins for optimal freshness?

Can I take your multivitamins if I have dietary restrictions?
Our multivitamins are formulated with organic whole foods, but if you have specific dietary restrictions or health concerns, we recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen.
Why doesn't the Women's 50+ Multi include calcium and magnesium?
There are a couple of reasons why calcium and magnesium aren’t included in this one-a-day organic multivitamin:
Tablet Size and Dosage:
Calcium, for instance, requires 1,300 mg to meet 100% of the FDA's recommended daily allowance. Including this much calcium in the formula would turn a single tablet into a 5–6 tablet per day product—even before adding magnesium. Adding magnesium at its daily value would push that total even higher, likely requiring 8–10 tablets a day!
Optimal Mineral Absorption:
Calcium competes for absorption with other essential minerals like iron and zinc. To ensure you’re getting the full benefits of these vital nutrients, we’ve prioritized their inclusion in the formula without interference from calcium.
Are the vitamins third-party tested for potency, heavy metals, and bacteria?
All our products undergo third-party testing to ensure quality and safety. While not every vitamin is tested with each batch, we adhere to a rigorous quality assurance program that includes rotational testing across batches.
We also conduct comprehensive testing for:
-Potency: To ensure the vitamins meet their label claims.
-Heavy Metals: Including Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, and Mercury.
-Microbial Contaminants: Such as total plate count, yeast/mold, coliforms, Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and Staphylococcus aureus.
None of our products are released if any contaminants are detected or if they exceed specifications. Copies of Certificate of Analysis are located here.
Are the multi-vitamins methylated?
Yes, our B12 is methylated, and we also include some methylated folate sourced from organic lemons. These nutrients are derived naturally, following nature’s processes.
Do these products include Cumin?
No, these products do not include the spice Cumin.
I’m concerned about the Folic acid because some can’t digest it. Are your vitamins methylated with folate?
To clarify, there was a typo on the initial label run of two of our formulas, but rest assured, our products contain folate, not folic acid.
If you see "methylated folate" on a label, it typically indicates a synthetic version, which cannot be certified organic. Our folate is naturally derived from organic lemons, where science shows that naturally occurring methylated folate is present.
Because we are committed to maintaining our organic and whole-food approach, we avoid synthetic folate entirely. Our goal is to ensure that the nutrients in our products, as much as possible, come directly from organic, whole-food sources.
Do any of the products contain Palm oil?
One ingredient we use, organic glycerin (as part of the coating), can be derived from organic coconut, organic flax, or organic palm oil. While we cannot guarantee the source in every batch due to availability, it is most often derived from organic coconut oil. It’s also worth noting that this organic glycerin makes up less than 0.25% of the product, and no other ingredients contain palm oil.
What form is the Folic Acid?
To clarify, we use folate, the naturally occurring form of vitamin B9, rather than synthetic folic acid. Folate is an essential nutrient that supports overall health, and we prioritize using the naturally derived form to align with our commitment to quality and wellness.
Are the multivitamins tablets or capsules and how big? Are they soy free for both men and women?
Our multivitamins are tablets, slightly larger than a typical capsule.
Additionally, all of our products are completely free of soy allergens, for both men and women’s formulas.
Do any of our products include allergens from the following: Gluten, Fish/Shellfish, Tree nuts, Dairy, Soy, Eggs, and Mushrooms?
We’re happy to confirm that EarthFirst Organic products DO NOT contain any of the following allergens:
-Gluten
-Fish/Shellfish
-Tree Nuts
-Dairy
-Soy
-Eggs
-Mushrooms
What is the organic glycerin in the men’s products derived from?
The organic glycerin used in our products is derived from organic coconut oil, organic flax oil, or organic palm oil.
Are our products gluten free?
While our products are not specifically tested for gluten, they do not contain any gluten-based ingredients. Gluten is primarily found in certain grains like wheat, rye, spelt, and triticale, none of which are used in our formulations. Additionally, if any of these ingredients were present, they would be clearly labeled on the packaging, as required by regulations.
Regarding the Prenatal multi- vitamins, do I need to supplement any other vitamins/supplements while taking this or can I take it by itself?
The Organic Prenatal is designed to be a simple, one-pill-per-day option for those who prefer not to take multiple supplements. It provides a strong baseline of essential nutrients. However, for comprehensive prenatal nutrition, additional supplements may be beneficial. Some important nutrients not included in the prenatal—due to the nature of organic certification or dosage considerations—include:
-Omega-3 Oils: Important for fetal brain and eye development.
-Choline: Supports brain development and cognitive health.
-Calcium: Vital for strong bones, but should be taken separately from the prenatal to avoid competing with iron absorption.
-Magnesium: Can be taken with calcium and is especially important for preventing complications like pre-eclampsia.
-Electrolytes: Help maintain hydration and balance during pregnancy.
The Organic Prenatal serves as an excellent foundation, but for complete nutritional support, you may want to consider these additional nutrients. We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to determine the best combination of supplements for your specific needs.
Are your vitamins safe for people under 18?
Yes, our multivitamins can be taken by individuals under 18 years old. However, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare provider to ensure the product aligns with their specific nutritional needs.
What versions/forms are the B12 and folate in?
The form of B12 in our products is Methylcobalamin, which is a highly bioavailable form of B12.
As for folate, it is derived from lemon, and because it is sourced from whole food, its exact form isn’t as easily identified in the way synthetic forms might be. However, it is presented in its natural, food-based state for optimal absorption and effectiveness.
What country are plants grown in for your vitamins?
The plants used in our vitamins are grown in India, where we source high-quality ingredients to ensure the best possible products for our customers.
Where Are Your Products Made?
Our products are proudly made in the USA in a USDA Certified Organic facility that follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This ensures the highest standards of quality, safety, and purity. Each product is crafted with care to meet strict organic and regulatory requirements, giving you clean, effective, and trustworthy nutrition.
